Testimonials

A former middle school English teacher, I completed my BA at UC Berkeley, my M.Ed. at UCLA, and my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I've worked as a private tutor locally and internationally, an adjunct professor where I taught Creative Writing, and was Managing Editor for Black Mountain Institute's award-winning literary magazine, Witness. Throughout, I've worked as a freelance writer and editor. I'm currently a memoir reader for Split Lip Magazine, and a mentor with Write Girl.
